Baya Weaver / గిజిగాడు Male - building its nest..
Sparrow Sized clever bird found in the Indian sub-continent and parts of Asia.
Build / weave hanging nests generally on thorny trees or palm trees and sometimes hanging over water, in a way to be safe from the predators. Interestingly, they also reinforce the nests with dunk and mud blobs to withstand even the heavy winds.
A popular folk belief in India that these birds stick fireflies with mud to the nest walls to light up the interior.

As the name denotes, Kingfishers feed mainly on Fish, apart from enjoying quick-bites like crustaceans and large aquatic insects such as dragonfly larvae. 

Expert hunter / fisher,  hovering over the water to detect prey and diving vertically down to capture fish. When not in active fishing mode, they have a straight rapid flight, as fast as 32 mph

Large sized (25 cm) in the Kingfisher family, unlike its other family members found even away from the water bodies and in the Urban areas as their food includes a diversified range like insects, earthworms, reptiles, amphibians, rodents, crabs and sometimes smaller birds.
While the breeding season - Monsoon, the male perches on a high post and starts calling, displaying its wings flicked open and sometimes raises the bill to display the white throat. The female in reciprocation and invitation makes a rapid and prolonged kit-kit-kit sound..

Flamingos / రాజహంస at Ameenpur Lake, Hyderabad.

Greater flamingos can be measured as tall as 60 Inches, but weighing as light as 8-10 pounds - a contrary combination for an animal that it so tall..

They stand on the thick mud to find and feed on the food - organisms including larvae, plankton, small fish and whatever else they can find in those shallow bodies of water, stomping their feet in the mud to help stir up the accessible food in the area without having to venture into deeper waters..
